They say MARS NEEDS MOMS, but what it got was a disaster. This motion-capture animated film cost $150 million, grossed less than $39 million, collapsed a studio, set an entire animation medium back years, and earned a bunch of terrible reviews in the process! Why is it such a dud, and is it really as bad as its reputation? And why is it the perfect double feature with Hayao Miyazaki's beloved, Oscar-winning classic SPIRITED AWAY? You'll find out on this week's CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED! Plus, we've got new reviews of THE GRINCH, OVERLORD, THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER'S WEB, OUTLAW KING and THE NEW ROMANTIC! It's our one year anniversary, and we're celebrating with one of the worst movies ever made! It's REEFER MADNESS, a 1936 "scare film" about how one puff of marijuana will transform you into a hallucinating sex-craved murderer and bring shame upon your family. It's the kind of anti-drug film that could only be enjoyed while intoxicated, and it's the perfect double feature with Greg Araki's unsung stoner classic SMILEY FACE, starring Anna Faris! Plus! New reviews of THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND, a new Orson Welles film over 40 years in the making, and its accompanying documentary THEY'LL LOVE ME WHEN I'M DEAD, and the newer new releases BOY ERASED and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY! This week on The Top 10 show, John Rocha and Matt Knost make history by counting down the Top 10 Will Ferrell movies. Why are they counting this down you might ask? There isn't a Will Ferrell movie for another month you might scream! Well, that's the history part of it. It's the first list the boys have counted down where the movie release date got pushed before they caught it. They soldier on anyway and now you benefit a month in advance with a hilarious episode revisiting some of the best films in Will Ferrell's oeuvre. It's French. Look it up!

TALES FROM THE CRYPT was a horrifying comic book series that shocked the nation into censoring the medium for decades, ushering in a wave of superheroes who now dominated the box office. But TALES FROM THE CRYPT had its own share of Hollywood success! On this week's CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review all five movies in the TALES FROM THE CRYPT franchise, from the 1970s to the 2000s. They also review the new releases SUSPIRIA and INDIVISIBLE, and discuss the tragic demise of the beloved streaming service FILMSTRUCK! This week on The Top 10's Thunderdome, John Rocha and Matt Knost have been tasked to do a Blunderdome on the Kevin Smith MEHsterpiece Cop Out. It stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as buddy cops caught up in some convoluted plot that makes no sense. The film is legendary for the issues Kevin Smith had with Bruce Willis on it. The boys break it down and offer their unfiltered thoughts on the film.

This is one of our last Thunderdomes as we are looking to start a new show for the Patrons. We are open to suggestions at this point so please chime in on the Facebook group. As always, thanks for listening and if you'd like to be a Patron you can do so at www.patreon.com/thetop10.
