National Account Manager - Sales

PodcastOne, a division of Courtside Entertainment Group, has immediate openings for fulltime, National Account Managers based in the following cities: Los Angeles, New York.

We are looking for experienced, dynamic individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join a national sales team with the primary goal of developing business with advertising agencies and clients by selling advertising/sponsorships in connection with the company's podcast network. This is an outside sales position selling to new clients and servicing established accounts, educating prospective clients on the podcast medium, and most importantly, closing business. Podcast One represents over 75+ shows with over 100 million downloads per month that features personalities such as: Adam Carolla, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Adam Carolla, Dennis Miller, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Snooki and many others. Required Talents
The right candidate must be a strategic, motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who is able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, capable of team selling and also works independently. The candidate is a person who must be adept at developing customized marketing solutions for clients, possess exceptional presentation skills and have a professional presence.

Required Experience
Radio and or digital media sales experience required. Primary focus is New Business Development. Ideal candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to develop high level contacts at Inc. 5,000 companies and ad agencies, as well as a track record that shows you are motivated, creative, goal-oriented and an effective problem solver.

Job Duties:

  •  Sell conceptually across multiple platforms including podcasting and social media
  •  Prospect and develop strong executive level client and agency relationships and sell the various programs advertising inventory
  •  Negotiate and close business that includes multi-million dollar deals
  • Achieve and maintain sales quota within 90 days of starting
  •  Accountable for strong communication and collaboration skills internally and externally to clients and agencies
  •  Keep management apprised of activities going on within accounts and where you need support

  • Requirements:

  • Recent experience in related media sales (radio and digital)
  •  Bachelor's degree in business, communications and/or marketing
  •  Proven track record of success in media sales at agencies and on client side
  •  Quick study to learn network programming;
  •  Highly effective presentation, written communication, and closing skill sets
  •  Effective listening skills and conceptual abilities to create the right advertising solutions for your clients/agencies;
  •  Ability to collaborate/communicate effectively with relevant departments
  •  Effective organizational and time management abilities
  •  Effective interpersonal skills
  •  SalesForce proficient
  •  Stay apprised of market conditions and competitive activities in your region
  •  Proficient in MS Office -- including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
